Then I'll Catch You a Star...

Raven: "Mommy.. I can't wait to grown up"

Older Me: "Oh really... why's that?"

Raven: "Cause I'm gonna go out to space and see the stars!"

Older Me: "Is that so?... Ya know, Raven, you don't have to go to space to see the stars.."

Raven: "But I wanna see them real up close!"

Older Me: "Then I'll just catch you a star right now so you don't have to wait..." ^^


Ugh...I am so ashamed of this picture -__-;; So... mushy..

Obviously this picture has to do with my imaginary daughter Raven while she's still very young.. I noticed that I didn't have any colored pics of her ((behold the purple hair!)) so I decided to draw one, and somehow this concept came into the picture... and anyone who knows me well will tell you I'm obbsessed with fireflies, so likely my daughter would be too.. the original concept also had her father in it... but since the subject of who's Raven's father still has yet to be decided... >>; *trails off*

THAT IS NOT TO SAY THAT I WOULD EVER HAVE CHILDREN ><

But if I did, god forbid, this would be one of the rare, softer moments or my parenthood.. -__-;

*pokes a cloud* hehehe ^^ it looks all cartoony! Oh, and what's with the green shades? Well.. I decided to draw myself with em cause I need perscription sunglasses as is, and I was SUPPOSED to get green tints.. but they told me I had to 18 >< ((SUCH CRAP)) so I figured by the time I was old enough to produce hellspawn I would have them... woot!
