My Response to Version 7...

I swear, if I see another,

"dA is dead to me now..." or,

"dA totally sucks now, it looks like a preschooler designed the new layout..." or,

"dA has really gone downhill since I've been a member - cause obviously I'm some sort of elitist internet veteran, hurr hurr."

I'm gonna to physically assault someone.

I hate that whenever a new version of deviantArt comes out, everybody and their grandmother has to whine and bawww and rip on it because it's the cool thing to do. Guess what? It's really not THAT different. And in a month when everybody gets used to the new layout and forgets that they're supposed to hate it, everything will be fine, because -SOMEHOW- we've adapted to every other change that this website has thrown at us, and personally, I think that it's better for the updates.

Besides, his is a FREE website! (And yes, I know you can CHOOSE to pay for a subscription, but you don't HAVE to.) You guys should be happy that they choose to update it at all!

So, in short:

Leave version 7 alone! LEAVE IT ALONE!!

(And no, I don't honestly believe anything will change because of my OMGSOAWSUM!! deviation.. I'm just complaining like the rest of you. Haters gun' hate!)

EDIT: And no, I'm not saying that you have to just except the changes and go on your merry way. You can disagree with some of the changes, or flat out not like the new layout - just don't act like it's the end of the world.
